The Church arose in 1595-1608 on account of the Norbertines from Nowy Sącz.
For its construction use was probably made of elements of a previous church which, according to tradition, was founded in 1410 by King Władysław Jagiełło, as an offering for victory in the Battle of Grunwald. Inside the church you can marvel at the coffered ceilings covered by late-renaissance figurative polychrome, dating from the middle of the C17th. The mannerist main altar dates from the beginning of the C17th and contains a baroque painting of St. Roch from the second half of the C18th. Other precious paintings are the Pieta and the Adoration of the Holy Trinity from the first half of the C17th.
